  1. Hi Maryanne

I just discovered your blog and I love it. There are many interior design blogs but very few that focus on landscape design. Today's post resonates with me as we are in Southern California. I'm also partial your gardens featuring boxwoods. There's something about the classic style and orderly shapes that appeal to me. Keep up the good work!

    1. Thanks so much Jeanne for taking the time to comment. Having spent a great deal of my childhood in So Ca. as well,I too sometimes need to break away from the order imposed by classic design...I think leaving and coming back we get to see another side to this design process.

  2. Hi Maryanne. Stunning image. The shade cast on the 'lawn' by the olive is very romantic. I'd love to grab a picnic blanket and spend the afternoon there.

  3. "While away the hours , conversing with the flowers", is always a good idea!
